NK Boys Win Against Tacoma 10-5

NK - 10; Tacoma - 5

The NK Middle School boys won their first game Saturday morning against the Tacoma Tigers. Several NK boys played in their first lacrosse game ever and had a great time.

Just a reminder about the stats, uncontested "scoops" do not count as ground balls. At the MS level, boys get credit for all shots on goal. At the HS level, the number of shots on goal should equal goalie saves (by other team) plus goals (by our team). When you look at MS stats, you will see that there are lots more shots then combined saves plus goals (38 shots does not equal 11 saves + 10 goals).

Stats for NK (in order of Jersey Number)
1 Arthurs, Kellson: 14 shots, 6 goals, 11 ground balls
4 Townsend, Sam: 5 ground balls
6 Loveless, Blake: 1 shot, 5 ground balls
9 Solis, Daxson: 3 shots, 4 ground balls
32 Cole, Logan: 1 ground ball

35 Sather, Hayden: 4 shots, 1 goal, 2 ground balls
37 Solis, Riley: 1 shot
39 Dotterweich, Matt: 7 shots, 1 goal, 9 ground balls
46 Knivila-Ritchie, Aidan: 2 shots, 1 assist, 2 ground balls
52 Evans, Bob: 1 ground ball
53 Carrasco, Jack: 3 goalie saves
Totals: 38 shots, 42 ground balls, 10 goals, 3 goalie saves, 7/11 face-offs won
